Working Principle: How Galvanized Steel Sheets Are Made

Galvanized steel sheets are produced through a precise metallurgical process that bonds zinc to steel for corrosion protection.

Step 1: Base Material Preparation

High-quality hot-rolled steel coils (grades DX51D, SGCC) are selected as the substrate.

Step 2: Surface Cleaning

The steel strip is thoroughly cleaned through:

• Degreasing: Removes oils and contaminants

• Pickling: Removes iron oxides and scale

• Fluxing: Prepares the surface for optimal zinc adhesion

Step 3: Hot-Dip Galvanizing
